Process
We work with our clients on an individual basis, on appointment
only. Jeanne, the designer, will ask a few questions about what
type of jewellery you like, and we look at some examples to
get an idea of your taste.
Very often, a client needs a particular piece of jewellery
to co-ordinate with other pieces in their jewellery wardrobe,
and here we are also able to offer advice, and design a few
options which would be suitable.
She also looks at the shape of your hand, and advises you
as to which styles will best suit you. Detailed scale drawings
are done as you look on, and colour is added to indicate the
stones and metal. A free quotation is written up for you,
and if the quotation does not fit into your budget, we can
adapt the stone size, or the weight of the ring or use a different
carat gold so that we can accommodate you.
If required, we make a wax model of the ring before starting
the manufacturing process. This is very helpful if you find
it difficult to visualize the ring 3-dimentionally.
